Educational Programme

The Andrés de Ribera Foundation actively participates in EDUCA, an educational programme organized and promoted by the Jerez City Council, and offers a wide range of activities for schoolchildren and young students through its Didactic Guide.

The Historical Clock Museum, which also houses other unique collections, becomes a living classroom where knowledge is shared and connected to the subjects outlined in the official Andalusian Education Curriculum.


PRIMARY EDUCATION

  • Geometry: clock face symmetry and geometry in decorative arts

  • Economics: the economic and social impact of timekeeping

  • Technology: from pendulum mechanics to digital horology

  • Physics and Chemistry: historical techniques in art, and the physics of pendulum motion

  • Biology: nature observation in the Gardens of La Atalaya


We also encourage active visits by senior groups, who can take part in the special experience of becoming “guides for a day”.
